I think it's funny that we pour our souls into this canvas, this piece of paper, and finish off the soul-pouring important-message by placing it in a little frame and hanging it on a big blank wall in a quiet echoey place and trying to sell it.
The way I create is organic and freeflow, not planned. It pops into my head and drips out of my fingertips and makes itself. I'm about to graduate from
Empire State College with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, but I think we are born with an artist's soul and a drive to create, and we can fine-tune it or just let it rip as long as we have faith in ourselves. My art is personal and universal and instinctual; it comes from being alive and being part of the world, not from studying and organizing. It helps that I have training, but the ideas and creativity don't come from schooling.
